Everyone is talking about saving the planet..well while I’m at it I am enjoying the planet. 

Just a few Fall bulbs ( maybe quite a few bulbs) and each Spring I enjoy the planet when I get a glimpse of their flowers.  I plant bulbs  nearly everywhere,–so it seems. I plant them at all the entry points to my home, near the basement door, at the end of the driveway, under the dining room window, near the lamppost, in pots near the front door.  Why not ? Just as the snow melts for the last time I see bright spots of color popping up everytime I pull into the driveway  or rush out the basement door.  These little quick “pick me ups”   help.  They help  slow down my frantic work pace.  They make me smile.  They  make me enjoy what is living around me.  Life isn’t all about humans. So much around is alive and can help us live better.  I am thankful there are small bulbs that can give me so much each Spring.
