|
12"
of Lace(can
use more),
glue gun, 3"straw hat, sprig of small flowers pinking
shears optional
|
|
|
This
craft is a great way to use scraps of fabric and
lace, the amount of pleating or gathering determines
the length of lace or fabric.

|
Tips:
When
the gel dries, add a new one. Remove the
top from your Patty Doll and remove the
plastic top from a new air freshener.
Pull off the dry gel from Patty Doll post
and discard. Gently slip the fresh gel
off of the new freshener. Slide the fresh
gel onto the Patty Doll post. Replace
Patty's top. Voila!
A
fresh new Patty.

Directions |
|
.
Cut
the doll in half. Remove the body stuffing but leave the
head and arms stuffed. Leave some of the body fabric attached.
.
Open
the air freshner. Glue a row of lace to the lower edge.
Leave 1/4" of the lower edge free of lace to allow the freshener
to be closed. You can add additional rows if desired. While
you glue, gather or pleat the lace to add fullness.
.
|
|
.
Glue
the the doll head to the body of the air freshener.
Glue
some of the doll's body fabric to the
body of the air freshener
(see
picture from another doll project)
Make certain the head is firmly attached.
.
